Bayou Vista – A community of waterfront homes along a series of dredged canals that provide access to Galveston Bay & the Gulf.

Texas City – Busy port & petroleum-refining & petrochemical-manufacturing center.

Santa Fe – Named for the Santa Fe Railroad (now part of BNSF Railway which runs through the town along State Highway 6.

Webster – Located midway between Downtown Houston & Galveston, Webster is a thriving bedroom community.
