I'm excited to tell you a little more about Dickinson though. 

Dickinson is located mid-way between Houston & Galveston. I feel we have the best of both worlds with just a 20-30 minute drive to Galveston and the same into Houston. Your family can enjoy the Beach and Historical Strand, water parks and water activities as well as Houston Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Sporting Events, Rodeo & festivals.

Adults can enjoy world class restaurants, clubs, state of the art medical facilities, live theater and concerts.

One of our county parks is located in Dickinson. Paul Hopkins Park offers a nature trail, fishing pier, playground, picnic tables and covered pavilion. It’s also home to the Festival of Lights that brings thousands to the community during the holidays.

Our neighboring communities also offer great restaurants, marinas, fitness facilities, access to Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. The famous Kemah Boardwalk with restaurants, shops, amusement rides and concert area offers year round entertainment. A winery and a rum distillery are also within 10-15 miles of Dickinson.
